pepe was born in 2005 in matt furie's comic boy's club — a chill frog from a four-friend slacker zine that nobody read and the entire internet eventually stole. furie didn't sign off on the meme phase. he spent years quietly trying to bring his frog back home.
part of that homecoming is zogz editions — furie's official ethereum collection of his own pepe variants, drawn in marker and colored pencil, minted on-chain. token #103 is the one we love: "zogz family alien pepe". sage skin. huge black almond eyes. the same furie smile that's been escaping comics for two decades.
